If you are into street bargain shopping, Entebbe also hosts the popular pop-up street markets called ‘kabubu’ which take place every Tuesday in Kitoro, and every Saturday in the old Entebbe town – just a mere 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk from NIMARO COURTS.

Apart from being the main gateway to Uganda, Entebbe is also a quiet and devastatingly beautiful peninsula town that is surrounded by Lake Victoria. This means wherever you are in Entebbe, you are literally within 5 – 10 minutes from most of the local beaches which are known for great fun and relaxation, especially on weekends. If you are a golfer – or just that person who enjoys a quiet stroll in well-manicured green spaces, then a 7-minute drive from NIMARO COURTS will get you to the historic 18-hole Entebbe Golf Course – East Africa’s first and oldest golf course that was opened in 1901.

Entebbe also has what Ugandans would describe as really “happening" nightclubs and bars.
